Possibly described best as a 75-minute assault; this Juvenalian satire centers on two Gingers-- one a recent widow and the other her mother-in-law as they struggle with recent loss. As we careen through this lucid nightmare with them, we are faced with the bizarre, darkly comedic and the terrifying realization that sometimes our most true selves aren't always our best selves. An art-house genre film that's been molested by internet culture to the point that it might be best positioned as a hopeful, future cult-classic of the early 2020s.
